members, to cultivate working together as a team, and promote
transparency. Great team members = The smarts and skills to make great
decisions. Working as a team = Outstanding productivity. Full
transparency = Getting the most realistic view of any situation.

- Handholding ancient perl system in various ways.
- Built out the js google maps implementation for the Super Bowl.
2009-2010: VP of Engineering Mediatemple.net
- Reorganized 40 person engineering department into a SCRUM Agile
development process.
- Built, led and organized the QA group/process.
- Built, led and organized the Product team/process.
- Built, led and organized the Operations team/process.
- Led and organized the Technical Communications Department.
- Led business strategy meetings to generate short and long term
goals for the Product team, and produce mission, vision, and value
statements.

- Pushing the organization as a whole to move towards a data driven

2007-2009: Manager, Web Engineering Shopzilla.com
- Led a 14 person eclectic multi-national SCRUM team to help produce
the most product enhancements to come out of the team in several years,
with half the team members, and team members and contractors spread
across the United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, and India.
- Pushed best engineering practices: on-call escalation, peer reviews,
repository management, paired programming, standardization etc.
2007-2007: Senior Software Engineer Shopzilla.com
- Pushed best coding practices, organized the team to generate
engineering initiatives for iterative work, peer reviews, code
reviews.
- Designed and implemented a reusable business rule handling system
(AED).
2006-2007: Team Lead / Software Engineer / Developer Oversee.net
- Lead a team of 5 developers, pushing best coding practices, peer
reviews, code reviews, and helped mold the individuals into a team.
- Lead on internationalization of the primary landing site where the
cash cow was fully localized in 5 languages.
2002-2005: Team Lead / Software Engineer / Developer Yahoo (formerly Overture)
-Built and lead the Search Tools Development team.
-Built and lead the Advertiser Tools Development team.
-Designed and developed various other tools with both web based and
command line front ends.
2002-2002: Self employed software consultant for MonsterTrak.
-Bug kills, and software development.
