august 22 2007 23:05 pdt and boom, just like that, a month flies by. during the beginning of august, both brother and sister visited, john and korana came up from berkeley, and we painted the house. much thanks to everyone who came to visit and helped us out this summer.
and then things got super busy at work- we were trying to wrap up the book to go to the publisher, and that took precedence for 50 hours last week. and now school has already started, and i've had my first class for everything except accounting and copyrights, and copyrights is tomorrow (for 3 hours straight!) so by the end of the day i'll have a good idea of what my school schedule will be like this fall.
it seems like i'm going to have a little more time on my hands. maybe i need to add a 2-unit seminar or something. but the word on the street is that if i'm going to light-load any semester, this is the one to do it, because this is the term when i should be focused on getting a job for next summer. we'll have to see how this whole planning-ahead thing works out.
