october 9 2007 12:42 pdt i sprained the hell out of my ankle on sunday. i've been icing and pressure wrapping and elevating and generally limping around everywhere. it's starting to turn funny colors today, so maybe it will be stable enough to walk on by friday.

october 5 2007 8:00 pdt whoa, massive load off. i re-checked the calendars and the syllabus, and it turns out that one exam is next week, and the other exam is the following week. so at least i can be stressed sequentially now instead of all at once. what a relief.
you know that it's getting cold when the cat tries to get under the blankets at 3 am, and then doesn't come back out.
october 4 2007 7:25 pdt up early. too much to do in the next ten days for us to sleep in. two midterms coming up next week.
october 3 2007 8:34 pdt it's still raining. not that anyone is surprised. we could have used a week of rain like this about six weeks ago. now it's too cold for the vegetables to benefit. maybe it will turn the lawn green around the edges once and for all.
