september 28 2009 22:39 pdt august was hot. too hot to blog regularly. i took the bar at the end of july, on the hottest two or three days portland has ever had. and i found out on friday that i passed, which is good news.
ramping up the job search again, which is a ton of fun in the sense that i get to be introspective and spend a lot of time thinking about what it is i really want to do next. after all, that was the whole point of law school in the first place- to end up with a degree that would allow me to do what i wanted. of course, if what i want doesn't correspond roughly with what people need, getting paid to do it doesn't work out so well.
in other news, little d likes to play with electronics. he called 9-1-1 the other day- i didn't know it, and after i took the phone away from him and hung it up again, they called back to ask if everything was ok. he was delighted.
