february 18 2010 14:32 pst we moved to portland in january. we're selling the house in springfield- we've got a buyer under contract right now and it looks like everything is coming together for the deal to go through this month. d is adjusting to a new dacare and he's got swim lessons at the local pool on tuesday/thursday afternoons. p still has a 10-minute commute.
biggest difference is that this new place has a ton of stairs. this makes it somewhat more complicated to do anything with d that involves carrying stuff, e.g. going grocery shopping. going to the store itself is just fine- it's bringing everything upstairs afterwards that is complicated.
we like it here so far. it's been an easy winter- no real snow, no freezing since december, and now the daffodils are coming up...
